  • “Girrl Power” Program – March 2011
    We hosted a one-day workshop on “Biomaterials” with hands-on activities for 20 middle-school girls from central PA as part of Girl Power program. The goal of this program is to encourage these female students to explore careers related to science, technology, engineering and mathematical fields.girlpower-2010
  • “Expanding Your Horizons” STEM Career Day for Girls – February 2014
    Our lab hosted a Biomedical Engineering workshop as a part of “2014 EYH STEM Career day” for about 70 middle-school female students. EYH is a program for girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades interested in exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics careers and in interacting with women who are active in STEM professions and fields of study.girlpower-2014
